Drugstore (Essie - A Crewed Intestert, Prestige, L'Oreal) Haul

Prestige My Longest Lashes Mascara

I recently dropped by the drugstore to pick up some “essentials”. I had finished using my Maybelline Illegal Lengths mascara and needed a new lengthing one. I had read a lot of good reviews (4.3/5 on Makeupalley!) on the Prestige My Longest Lashes Mascara so this was the mascara was the way to go to replace my beloved Maybelline one. Both retail around the same price.

Essie’s “A Crewed Interest” had been all the talk recently and being someone who loves neutral nails, I thought this would be great in my collection because it looked neutral enough but also had a more summer/spring vibe to it due to the brighter tone compared to my usual, beige-y, neutral selections.

Now this L'Oreal Colour Riche One Stop Base Coat was an accidental purchase. I was actually intending on purchasing a new TOP coat but grabbed the wrong one! Instead of a new top coat, I ended up with this weird blue base coat (which doesn’t actually translate blue when painted on your nails - a full review to come soon?)

This was my mini drugstore haul! Let me know what you guys think of these products if you have tried them out !

Urban Decay Lush Lash System

Urban Decay Lush Lash System
I am obsessed with long and volumionous lashes so naturally, I am highly intrigued by any lash serums that claim to give you longer and thicker lashes - I do not like wearing fake lashes therefore, I resort to chemicals for longer lashes instead (ha ha).

I picked this up during a Sephora V.I.B event since this was $50 - but with lash serums and products like that, you will rarely find a product that is safe and works for less than that. The reviews for this product seemed quite promising so I decided that I would try this for my next lash rotation.

This Lush Lash system is dual ended: one end for application along the lash line (the actual "growth serum" and one end for conditioning the lashes with a mascara/spooly wand - this was one of the reasons I was drawn to this product as opposed to something like Givenchy's Mister Lash Booster where you only comb through your lashes. I think for noticable differences, you should target both the roots and the already existing lashes. My previous experience with a similar product is the Smashbox Lash Revival Treatment & Conditioner and it worked great until the effects started to plateau so I am really excited to try this.

And a shout out to Urban Decay for the beautiful packaging and the super cute name, "Lush Lash System" - so fun!
